Climate engineering operations continue to create winter weather chaos in parts of the US, Canada and Europe. Chemical ice nucleation elements are a core component of global geoengineering programs. Winter weather whiplash, freezing rain, freezing drizzle / fog, and “thunder snow” conditions, all are indicative of chemical ice nucleation materials being dispersed into available atmospheric moisture. Ice nucleating elements create an endothermic (energy absorbing) reaction that, in turn, produces a colder, heavier air mass. The heavy dense air then sinks to ground surface levels. This shallow layer of cold air lowers surface temperatures and thus produces the sensationalized headlines of cold weather that the climate engineers and the power structure corporate media are seeking. “Winter Storm Harper” recently took its toll on specific regions of the Eastern US. “Winter Storm Indra” is now winding down with less impact than than the climate engineers had originally hoped (or scheduled) to achieve. Naming “winter storms” adds to the sensationalizing of these completely engineered events.
Corporate media faithfully follows the scripts and talking points they are given in their coverage of the completely engineered “winter weather”, while completely omitting the unfolding planetary meltdowns occurring in so many other locations around the world. The scripted nature of mainstream meteorologist's narratives is not hard to see through. Corporate meteorologists are playing the part of cover-up for the climate engineering programs.
The temperatures and precipitation types (frozen or liquid) in the current condition and forecast screenshots below should be examined and considered. The scheduled weather in three locations were captured, Jamestown, NY, Binghamton, NY, and Nashville, TN.
Why is snow falling at 43 degrees? Why is it still raining at 28 degrees?
The next "forecast" capture was for Binghamton, NY.
Why is ice falling at 34 degrees? Then back to rain at 33 degrees? Then snow at 43 degrees?
The final "forecast" capture is for Nashville, TN.
This weather information screen for Nashville, TN, is also perplexing. The flow of rain over Nashville is coming right out of the Gulf of Mexico, thus the high temperatures of 56 degrees and rain. This same flow of warmer moisture somehow “turns over” to snow further north, with temperatures still being far above freezing. The “forecast” map above (scheduled weather) calls for an extremely anomalous temperature plunge of some 30 degrees with continuous rain. With a constant flow of warmer moisture out of the south, why would there be such a sudden 30 degree temperature drop? Generally, day to night temperatures only vary by a few degrees when a constant flow of precipitation is occurring. Why would it still be raining at 26 degrees?
The animation below reveals precipitation flow and wind patterns that were present during the peak of "Winter Storm Indra".
In this animation view of precipitation and wind, the source of moisture for “Winter Storm Indra” can clearly be seen. Warm Gulf of Mexico moisture and temperate wind from the south western Atlantic Ocean are primary components of "Winter Storm Indra". The same conditions were present for "Winter Storm Harper" and countless other "winter storms" in recent years. Are such extreme anomalies an act of nature? Or the result of climate engineering operations?
The next animation even more clearly reveals the very unlikely and questionable source of moisture for a "winter storm".
The flow of temperate moisture from the Gulf of Mexico (shown) was the primary fuel for “Winter Storm Indra”. Some regions in this animation can be seen flashing from liquid precipitation (rain), to frozen (ice storm or snow), and back again. Such a “change over” at above freezing temperatures can only occur when an unnatural ice nucleating factor is in the equation, that factor is chemical ice nucleation for weather modification elements. These are patented processes.
Engineered winter events, chemical ice nucleation, and its effects, can be viewed in a 16+ minute segment of the presentation below (from 1:22:54 to 1:38:00), the video is pre-set to start at the beginning of this section on engineering winter.
Below is the NOAA forecast (scheduled) departure from normal high temperature map for late January, 2019. The extreme opposites of temperatures from one side of the country to the other are historically unprecedented (though are now becoming the norm in recent years).
While the Eastern US is scheduled for yet more engineered cool-down scenarios, locations like Alaska have been kept warm and dry. Record shattering heat is persisting and accelerating in other parts of the world as well, Australia is only one example of many.
What is the global temperature perspective? The GISS departure from normal high temperature map below is for a recent 1 year period. This average temperature compilation map is extremely revealing and should be carefully considered. The only consistently anomalously cool-down zone on the planet is the eastern half of the North American continent. Is it just a coincidence that the country with by far the world's largest military and air force (and thus by far the largest climate engineering operations) has had the only consistent and extremely anomalous cool-downs over its most populated regions over extended spans of time? Again, is this just a coincidence? No.
Radically increasing winter weather whiplash is not an act of nature, it is a result of covert climate engineering operations. There can be no legitimate discussion of the climate without first and foremost addressing the climate engineering / geoengineering / solar radiation management issue. Further, there can be no legitimate discussion of geoengineering / climate engineering without addressing the engineered “winter weather” events that utilize jet stream manipulation and patented processes of chemical ice nucleation for weather modification.

Just a few days ago, the so called forecast showed weather with rain and ice pellets at 12F!! Overnight!! This is an area known as Kirkland Lake Ontario. We definitely had rain here in the mid 20's and in less than 2 days saw 2 feet of snow melt, no exaggeration
I want to know if the towers just off Bear River Ridge Road about 10 miles south of Ferndale CA are weather control towers. I live in Eureka and have seen countless chemtrails, like crop dusting, with no apparent effort to disguise. Storm after storm gets broken up and dissipated before reaching shore. Perhaps unrelated, but I have been hearing a constant 24/7 low frequency hum that oscillates between two low frequencies, I measured 73hz and 146hz, a perfect octave. This has been present for the last 6.5 years.
That damn oscillation really annoys me. It goes high and then low with no rhythmic pulse. That low frequency is like a sub low. I don't have a tv or radio so that's about all I hear, all day, all night. Earplugs don't help. It's in my head. I put on a fan at night to mask the "sound" so I can sleep.
I have witnessed these spray days for years now. The chemical process of burning jet fuel renders a known potential for water vapour formation per pound of fuel consumed. It is an impossibility for ANY aircraft engine of ANY design to produce what is sold to us as contrails. Keep that in mind when the sky fills with the "vapour".
There is a web site called flightradar24. I have visited this site often while in Wyoming. On heavy spray days there are some spray jets that do not appear on radar. FAA rule require all commercial aircraft to have an active transponder signal at all times…. Other times I notice that commercial jets are spraying and are identified. I am wondering if the military jets spray the most toxic formulas.
Anyone who has critical thinking skills and pays attention to the spray cycles knows there are many different "formulas" for the sprays. I love the "chain saw" spray… so obvious it falls down like a waterfall or teeth of a chain saw chain. I have seen perhaps seven different types of sprays.
I have had personal conversations with pilots and powerplant mechanics in aviation. South West pilots sitting with me in Steamboat Springs,CO soaking in the public hot springs pool while heavy spraying is in progress, with a straight face both tell me its contrails. Hmmmm… Major airline powerplant mechanics do not understand combustion, its chemical process or byproducts. Stating to anyone who thinks the lines in the sky are anything but water are tin foil hat folks. How about the retired Air Force colonel with over 10,000 flight hours looking me in the eye and telling me he never heard of chemtrails untill I brought it up? I am trained to spot deception. The colonel was the only person who displayed this trait. All the others seemed genuine. These folks represent the highly trained… were in trouble.
I have tried to educate and discuss GEOENGINEERINGwatch.org with dozens and perhaps hundreds of people. I am sad to report most everyone is too busy, aloof, apathetic, or IQ deficient to care. My math tells me over ninety percent of the people have no clue.

There must be literally thousands or tens of thousands of people who have first hand knowledge of this/these programs… Pilots, mechanics, baggage handlers, airline ground crews, traffic controllers, airline executives, railroad owners, maufacturers of the sprays, Raytheon, virtually all meteorological weather stations, satellite operators, government scientists, Greenpeace, Sierra Club, ACLU, Governers, Mayors, Congress, Senate, the media for scrubbing and sanitizing most every comment section of articles clean of the mention of spraying and any other banned coversation/narrative.
Two years ago the USGS removed their lab results for mud samples taken from my local lakes and reservoirs here in Wyoming. Previously there were high concentrations of aluminum, barium, and strontium indicated. I must now assume the mud sample testing will forever be buried. This fallout ends up on the crops that we eat, our oceans, forests, and the grasses that our livestock feed on.

Has anyone else noticed that just a year or so ago the comment section of articles used to have more spirited and deep conversation? Now comments are sanitized or deleted by the TPTB into mostly superficial divisive comments about snowflake imagined problems. Futhermore the articles that push the liberal agenda almost never allow for a comment section period. Seems like a great way to administer the koolaid.
We finally had a taste of the current winter fakery here in Britain.
Whilst very much only a shadow of the brutal chemical attack ongoing in the USA, the British propaganda was quick to blanket the media with ridiculous headlines such as "Doomsday snow" or "apocalyptic winter" when only a few centimetres of the stuff actually fell.
Something piqued my curiosity earlier today – I was outside, fixing a gate which had been knocked askew, when I overheard a little girl say to her mother (with whom she was walking) "mummy, this snow tastes funny". Chemicals? Pretty sure it wasn't traffic exhaust as no vehicles had been up the lane for several hours before the *snow* started falling, and none during the day (as attested by the lack of tracks). She had picked it up off a wall, so it also couldn't have been contaminated by a passing canine! I couldn't help but think it was some intrinsic component of the *snow* itself – namely an artificially introduced substance ie a nucleating chemical?
Funny though, although there was only approximately a centimetre or so where I live, it took ALL day at well above freezing for most of it to melt. 24 hours later there is still some lying.
I wonder whether any of the precipitation we have, in whatever form it falls, is *natural* or if it all is to some degree poisoned and/or engineered.
Of late I have noticed days with unbroken skies. Skies which are free of the pernicious cross-hatching. However, the blue which permeates is a pale imitation (pun intended) of skies I remember from my childhood. Thinking these memories of really BLUE skies from youth might have been altered by the passage of time I proved otherwise to myself by searching through the attic for photographs from decades past. Sure enough, skies were blue, and not a sickly pastel.
I had a rep from a *smart meter* company call recently to ask if I was interested in "considerably lowering my energy bill". HA! no thanks! My tinnitus is had enough as is!
A small point of positivity – just the other day I had a previously obstinately blind associate approach me and say thank you for encouraging her to seek her own answers regarding geoengineering (I had in the past, to my chagrin, lectured and that just doesn't work). It maybe a bit premature to say she is *awoke* but I definitely see the interest gaining momentum there. It is hard for me not to shout at people "WTF is wrong with yous?! Open your eyes" etc but I try at every opportunity to plant seeds in folks (so to speak).
Walking the dog gives me an excellent excuse to encounter various other people – I am torn between stepping lightly regarding the issues of weather modification and, knowing that time is shortening rapidly, not just kind of going "ARRGHH".
Anyway, sorry to ramble on.

next day, clear skies, begin spraying
next day cloud cover
next day cloud cover
then clear skies and the pattern repeats.
Same here on the Oregon coast.

Paul V – Thank you for the info regarding the rash on my hubbies face! We won't be using the Sovereign Silver. I do use a couple drops in my eyes to get rid of the redness – is this not good for me? I also give the dog a tablespoon per day. We just got back from the drugstore with a bottle of NAC 600 mg and organic 1% hydrocortisone cream (without petroleum & other crap) and will begin that regimen tonight along with Vitamin C that we already take. Hopefully this will work to get rid of the rash on his face. I bet it is from the UVB/C since his face is the only part exposed when he's walking the dog or cleaning the yard. We are being cooked in Australia, temps into the high 40's celsius. Fruit and vegies on the vine and the ground being cooked also, no water to water crops, millions of fish dying in the Murray-Darling water system, etc. Every time I see the strange clouds coming from the west that look like they've been zapped, I know we are in for strange weather.
How come when I watch countless peoples' personal home video footage prior to 1999 I never see any geoengineering chemtrails or criss crossing patterns, but from observance, almost only clear blue sky?
Please tell the truth that the SAI program got ramped up sometime after the year 2000 where by 2005 or so, it became an almost every-other-day event. In fact, the amount of chemtrails sprayed parallels the number of countries the US has bombed since Oct 2001, when the US began major military operations in the 2nd Mid East War.

Perhaps either you and family/friends own movies (VHS) and tv shows from the '70's, '80's and early '90's. If so, view them and then view the televised versions readily aired throughout cable programming. METV, etc. You'll discover TPTB have brushed in geo-engeered "trails" in order to support their narrative that these have always been there, you just didn't notice. This occurred well over 5 years ago. Amazing how many were edited. Of note, this was apparent last night on AMC's airing of "GHOST" in an early scene with NY sky background.
Prior to 1999, I commonly spotted rainbows during or after rainstorms. Since that time, rainbow sightings have been few and far between here in Marin County. Moreover, I've noticed that every time there's been a significant lunar eclipse (like the one that happened recently), the skies above me are blanketed with an opaque cloud layer so that none of the celestial phenomenon is visible.

I've taken the pictures (Butte County), I've been through some pretty amazing grief & devastation from exposure to this information, around August 2018. I am so grateful of meeting Mr Wigington in person last Oct 20th. A more sincere in heart handshake, I have never known. N-Acetyl-L-cysteine is available over the counter at most pharmacies, and isn't particularly rare or expensive. Start off with a low dose regimen and increase dose slowly over a few weeks.
I know it sounds lame, but these rashes will often respond to 1%Hydrocortisone Creams with no issues. Rinse skin with non-chlorinated water, then follow with a very light application of cream twice a day. Use non-petroleum based Hydrocortisone Creams. Avoid all petrolatum products and T laurel sulfate based soaps, conditioners, and skin emollients. Many of these skin rashes are normal reactions to UVB and UVC radiation exposure…
Tonight is the first time this winter that the temperature is 56°. Daytime highs 60-nights in the 30's. It was 56 when I went to sleep 6 pm and 56° now at 3 am. Just observing?
Here is Pa We hade exactly TWICE the amount of rain in 2018 as the average. I kept saying to people, "Does anyone else notice what's going on?" Its literally raining every day for months. I have a duaghter who plays tennis so I am very aware when I have to pay my monthly bill because she played indoors when it rains. One month it rained 26 days. Its insane. We are talking baout moving only because the darkness and cold is depressing.
Yesterday morning a fog cloud rolled through my area and the whole time the temps. were 36 degrees or higher yet it left behind a thin layer of ice on the roads so slick people were crashing everywhere. No way this could happen without their ice nucleation bullcrap. One man lost his life. It made no sense to my coworkers but they still refuse to believe in climate engineering. How many scenarios like this do they need before they open their eyes? Unreal!

I can confirm all the insane weather we have been having all winter in New England. As other posters in NH stated, we get extreme temperature shifts, after days of -30 degree F wind chills, we get a 45 degree rain storm.

NewsGuard quotes me as saying (in the course of its danger warning to readers thinking of flirting with Breitbart News):

And it presents it as though this were a bad thing to have written.
But I stand by every word. It’s the kind of thing that makes me go: “God, I wish I’d written that — No, wait. I did!”
Why? Because apart from being demonstrably true, it captures so perfectly the reason why I became something of a climate change specialist in the first place.
It wasn’t — let me assure you — because I found myself suddenly captivated by the how-many-angels-can-dance-on-the-head-of-a-pin debate in certain scientific ghettos as to the extent to which tiny increases in the otherwise harmless trace gas we exhale every few seconds and that we use in greenhouses to help plants grow faster are warming the planet at a catastrophic and unprecedented rate.
No, much simpler than that, it appealed to my most basic journalistic instincts: here was a story which most of the mainstream media was covering extremely, embarrassingly badly; where the facts were almost diametrically opposite to the breast-beating, hysterical, junk science narrative presented at outlets like the BBC, CNN, and the New York Times; where there was so much low-hanging fruit, so many examples every day of greed, corruption, stupidity, mendacity, and incompetence on the most epic scale — all of it costing us taxpayers a fortune, making the world a more miserable place to live in and — the biggest joke of all — actually harming the planet in the process.
In Connecticut we had a thunderstorm pass through 2 weeks ago that you only see in the summer. Prolonged steady thunder & lightning. Radar had the whole state covered in yellow & red. The WHOLE state. In Nov we had our biggest (and only real) snowstorm which was meant to defoliate the trees, I'm guessing. Well, it also shredded some pine trees of healthy needles. That was a first.
This recent storm dumped gallons of rain. We keep switching from mid 50s back to temps in the teens. Scared to see what Feb brings.
I remember talking to a friend in Austin Texas last winter, where it was snowing at 39 degrees. When the same system reached us here in western SC the next day, it was all rain at 36 degrees.
The forecasts were switched from lows to highs from day to day in the 3 places that could account for the variances in snow vs rain.
Looking at the news today, the artic blast coming appeared to have warm weather behind it?
People should take natural remedies into mind to get rid of the heavy metals like aluminum and barium. Also, use essential oils for the mold and mildew that is creating health issues, especially with the thymus glands. People are very ill in NC and are having trouble getting well due to Hurricane Florence and constant patterns of rain.
Interesting to note too, a connection between radon and earthquake probability. Have radon levels been increasing in certain areas?
In southern Ontario it was – 30 on Monday January 21 with 30 cm of "snow" (round pellets). On Wednesday January 23 it was close to +10 degrees. It's Friday January 25 today and were back down to – 17.

Broome has copped a soaking from Tropical Cyclone Riley overnight, and the rain is set to continue today as the system moves south west.
The Kimberley town recorded 46.4mm of rain between 2pm and 6.30 am Thursday morning but has been spared any damaging wind gusts so far.
It comes after TC Riley formed overnight as a category one cyclone off the Dampier Peninsula.

Tropical Cyclone Riley has intensified to a category two and is continuing to track parallel to the Pilbara coast in northern Western Australia.
The cyclone, which formed at 6am on Thursday, is about 425km north of Port Hedland, moving west at 6km/h, with estimated wind speeds of 95 km/h around its centre and gusts of up to 130km/h.
It is expected to continue to move in a generally west direction while slowly intensifying on Friday, the Bureau of Meteorology says.
Riley may become a category three by Saturday morning but will only pose a risk to Pilbara communities if it takes a more southerly track.
It would be interesting to know when actual low frequency weapons capability began, probably not until the 90s as I believe you'd have to have plasma technology in order to induce earthquake. We had buckets of rain last Wednesday and rain off and on after that. Monday was about as beautiful as it used to be on a clear day, until the damnable jets started in funking up the skies over the Bay Area, then we were served tic-tac-toe chem-trail lattice-pie-in-the-sky all day yesterday. Trying to get to sleep while breathing the sh*t "THEY" spray all over us, behaving like a bunch of OC maniacs trying to kill a bunch of useless destructive bugs, is always such a fun adventure. My joints were aching and I was stiff and sore yesterday…imagine trying to practice your part for a symphony orchestra performance when you feel like you're the Tin Man after a rain storm and you've run out of oil…. Today it was actually hot out there. This seems to happen after rain storms now.. could this be the infamous "warm side" of the weather front–?

Oh boy are they wreaking havoc up here in New Hampshire. Harper was scheduled to dump 12-24" but it fizzled, instead we got about 6" but mostly in the form of tiny ice balls. Today we got hit with Indra at 51* it poured all day long. Coming off three days with wind chills down to 25 below zero, it's a shock to the system. Everything is flooding from the fake ice ball "snow" that won't melt, not even at 51* and 3" of rain. My other half walks the dog 3 times a day no matter what the weather and since we've had one "system" after the other his face has broken out in what looks like hives. They are only along his forehead and cheeks! I've never seen anything like it and since he's out in that chemical soup walking the dog and snow blowing I can only think it's an allergic reaction to the chemicals or chemical burns from the nucleating agents. We used Sovereign Silver on them and Nutiva organic coconut oil but neither has helped at all, in fact the red splotches are getting bigger. He made an appointment with his doctor for Monday and I wonder what drugs and shots he's going to do to him. I'm sure he won't test him for toxic chemicals. Does anyone else get this reaction that looks like hives? It doesn't itch but the more he's out in the weather the worse it's getting. Could it be some new concoction they're putting in the atmosphere?
Barb E, I live near Meredith, NH and have been observing stepped up spraying over the last few years and the clearly engineered weather. And what about the dead stillness we will get for days, no breeze at all, then like a switch has flipped, 25 to 40 mph winds for hours! We have had crazy wind events occurring out of the blue for 3 years now.
Hello Barb E: Please do not use colloidal silver products on open skin as they are proven to be genotoxic and destructive to biological cells. I know this goes against what "naturalists" and the public has been told, but mammalian cells have no process for elimination of nano-silver particulates once they cross the cell membrane. I'm across the country in WA but my face has become splotchy too. I have dry sensitive skin, but I've never had problems like this with my face before…and like your husband, nothing seems to help it. I've tried kaolin clay masks and detox baths; coconut, rosehip, argan and marula oil. I wondered if it was from the spraying, which has been ramped up here again. Lately we've been having humidity in the 90%+ range but no rain. I need to walk daily for my health…but it's like walking in soup. Affects my eyes and sinuses too, with burning, watering, stuffiness. If you find something that helps please let us know.

Yes, it's truly wonderful to suffer from nanoparticulate metal exposure! But you can at least get temporary relief from the crap we're all being forced to breathe from the products named below:

I saw an old dermotologist about the face rashes a few years back. He said to use diluted Apple cider vinegar compresses (2 T to 1 cup water) twice a day and nothing else. It does help but needs to be continuously used til the skin clears. Cortisone is not meant to be used on facial tissue as it causes scaring.

Been keeping a log of weather and related events on a daily basis. There is a definite pattern and correlation between the days before a 'winter event' and days of sprayed skies. Generally there is a noticeable up-tic in temperatures in the days leading up to the event, then the planes come in, put the dome on, and within a day, or sometimes sooner-the weather changes, we will get a 'wind event' that seems to come out of nowhere. Snow is now like salt, very fine, little to no moisture. Temps rebound very quickly and it is usually gone in a day. The air begins to smell industrial before, and during these storms. I have seen a change in the amount of time that is needed for the skies to be covered; it seems to happen much quicker.

I'm in Avon NY, near Jamestown, Rochester, etc. I have been taking snapshots of 10 day forecasts here off and on for about a year, and notice that weather.com shows precipitation values that are always high given what logic and physics would suggest despite what the weather forecast is. For example, even when it's in the single digits here for highs and negative temperatures for overnight lows, the average humidity values always hover around 60%. Rare that it's less than that. Coming up next week, it will again get in the single digits and humidity will be 60% daily.
How does the high humidity play into the nucleation process? Does one cause the other? Is moisture brought over this area through other means and then used for the nucleation process to cause constant clouding and rain/snow we've had for months now? We haven't had a sunny day here in about 4 months. And every day for the next 15 days shows completely cloudy on the weather channel predictions.
One other note I wanted to bring up is I will once in a while randomly choose 20 locations around the US mostly, and look at their current weather and 10 day forecasts. Every single location I chose today except Phoenix and Albuquerque were completely clouded over. And the 10 day forecasts show cloudy for pretty much every location I chose. It would be interesting to have some of us log daily random, or fixed, locational daily forecasts as well as 10 day forecasts for 20 or so locations to show how targeted we are here in the US.

H.R. 510 (115th): Rapid DNA Act of 2017
Rapid DNA is a new technique that can analyze DNA samples in about 90 minutes, instead of days or even weeks as it took previously. A bill that passed the Senate and House last week would expand the use of this technology.
What the bill does
The Rapid DNA Act establishes a system for Rapid DNA’s nationwide coordination among law enforcement departments, by connecting it to the FBI’s Combined DNA Index System.
Labelled S. 139 in the Senate and H.R. 510 in the House, the legislation was introduced by Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT) and Rep. James Sensenbrenner (R-WI5).
Former FBI Director James Comey cited a real-life example of how the technology could be used effectively. “[It will] allow us, in booking stations around the country, if someone’s arrested, to know instantly — or near instantly — whether that person is the rapist who’s been on the loose in a particular community before they’re released on bail and get away or to clear somebody, to show that they’re not the person,” Comey said in testimony.
Rapid DNA was used for the first time ever in a criminal investigation in 2013, to nab burglars who stole more than $30,000 worth of items from an Air Force Member’s Florida home while they were serving in Afghanistan. Presumably more such cases would be solved and quickly with expanded use of rapid DNA.

The Electronic Frontier Foundation expressed doubts about the accuracy of Rapid DNA. “Rapid DNA has only been tested on single-source samples — like a swab taken directly from a person’s inner cheek,” the EFF writes. “And yet, Rapid DNA manufacturers are trying to convince law enforcement agencies to buy these machines to get through their backlog of rape kits and for low-level property crimes — situations where there’s a very good chance the DNA came from multiple people — some of whom may have had no connection to the crime at all.

In 2017, President Trump signed into law the Rapid DNA Act, which, starting this year, will enable approved police booking stations in several states to connect their Rapid DNA machines to Codis, the national DNA database. Genetic fingerprinting is set to become as routine as the old-fashioned kind.”
Referred to as “magic boxes,” these Rapid DNA machines—portable, about the size of a desktop printer, highly unregulated, far from fool-proof, and so fast that they can produce DNA profiles in less than two hours—allow police to go on fishing expeditions for any hint of possible misconduct using DNA samples.
Journalist Heather Murphy explains: “As police agencies build out their local DNA databases, they are collecting DNA not only from people who have been charged with major crimes but also, increasingly, from people who are merely deemed suspicious, permanently linking their genetic identities to criminal databases.”
