The ongoing climate engineering in our skies could not be more obvious, yet the denial continues. How disrupted must the weather get before people realize something is very wrong? How massive and blatant must the lies of mainstream media and the climate science community be before the sleeping population wakes up to them? One primary goal of the geoengineers is to hide the true state of climate reality as long as possible from a population that does not seem willing to face reality in the first place. The recent article below from The Guardian claims that "geoengineering is fast and cheap", on what facts do they base such claims? The Guardian is not printing facts, but only feeding the lies. The ongoing climate engineering has been decimating the planet and the entire web of life for decades, if it continues we face the mathematical certainty of near term total global extinction. What is "cheap" about that?

Geoengineering Is Fast And Cheap, But Not The Key To Stopping Climate Change
Source: The Guardian
Lowering the planet’s temperature with sulphate aerosols could cost less than $10 billion a year, but would leave future generations with a double catastrophe.
About 70,000 years ago, a super volcanic eruption in Indonesia released more than 2,000 cubic kilometers of material, blocking out sunlight and reducing global mean temperature by about four degrees. This rapid change in climate may have had a catastrophic impact on our ancestors, possibly cutting the human population to only 10,000 survivors. Although the academic debate surrounding this hypothesis has not yet been settled, there is strong evidence that rapid warming or cooling episodes have caused multiple mass extinctions of other species over the past 500 million years.
The likelihood of human extinction due to climate change is an open question, and one that is missed in most climate discussions. We know that the two to four degrees of projected warming this century is likely to force the relocation of people from flooded cities, shift growing seasons, cut a substantial fraction out of our GDP, and have a disproportionate impact upon the most impoverished parts of the world – but it doesn’t stop there. Today’s climate models also suggest a small probability of exceeding four degrees of warming, and research has suggested that anything beyond 12 degrees would render most of the planet uninhabitable for humanity.
It is true that such dramatic warming would be unlikely. Even the most pessimistic scenarios from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) predict less than a 30% chance of exceeding 6.4 degrees of warming this century, while Martin L Weitzman of Harvard ballparks the probability of human extinction-level climate change at around 1% – assuming nothing is done about it.
At first glance, these may seem like acceptable odds, but let’s put this in perspective; if planes crashed 1% of the time, there would be more than 2,000 plane crashes every day. Should we really have higher safety standards for our planes than our entire planet? As Gernot Wagner and Weitzman argue in their recent book Climate Shock, consideration of these low-probability, high-stakes risks urgently needs to be incorporated into our assessment of climate change.
After all, just because an event is unlikely doesn’t mean we can be dismissive of the possibility; this is why we buy insurance and wear seatbelts, it’s why we invest in diverse portfolios and countermeasures for rare national defence contingencies, and it’s precisely why we should be doing more to tackle climate change.
It could be that humanity will finally start tackling climate change as it gradually becomes a much more severe problem, and hence we never reach the truly catastrophic scenarios. The most obvious and safe way to do this would be to cut our carbon emissions. This is difficult. As Wagner and Weitzman point out, entrenched economic interests mean the world subsidises fossil fuels to the tune of $500 billion (£328 billion) each year. Moreover, climate suffers a free rider problem – any country that unilaterally cuts emissions suffers the full economic ramifications of such a move, while the benefits only occur if all countries come to an agreement. This is slow and requires us to have foresight as to how our actions will impact the generations to come.
Alternatively, the easy and fast way to reduce global temperatures would be through geoengineering. Spraying sulphate aerosols into the atmosphere would mimic the reflective particles released from volcanic eruptions, cooling the planet and returning us to pre-industrial temperatures. Such a project would probably be cheap – one tonne of sulphur dioxide would be sufficient to cancel out the climate effects of almost 30,000 tons of carbon dioxide, and Wagner and Weitzman estimate that the total cost of lowering the entire planet’s temperature is likely to be less than $10 billion per year. Due to the affordability of this project, any single country could unilaterally undertake a geoengineering project, bypassing the bureaucratic hurdles and perpetual gridlock of international agreements.
But the ease with which geoengineering could be used could actually be one of its biggest drawbacks. Governance difficulties multiply when every country and/or adventurous billionaire gains access to the world’s thermostat. And even if the technology were used responsibly, the aerosols would do nothing to halt ocean acidification and a myriad of other problems with carbon emissions. Furthermore, if the aerosol spraying was halted for some reason, the particles would be washed out of the sky within a month or so, and global temperatures would skyrocket faster than ever.
What could induce a sudden pause in geoengineering? Other risks to human civilization such as pandemics, warfare, or geomagnetic storms could certainly make the maintenance of such a project much harder. As Seth Baum and his colleagues at the Global Catastrophic Risk Institute argue, some of the worst risks of geoengineering might be the link forged between climate catastrophes and other shocks to humanity. When the stability of our biosphere becomes dependent on the stability of our human infrastructure, we’re baking in an automatic climate crisis to the next catastrophe. We really shouldn’t place future generations in the position of facing two catastrophic risks at once. Climate change is bad enough, so let’s cut emissions before geoengineering becomes too tempting to resist.

Our bodies are already reacting ,the defenses of our bodies or of our imune-systems are uncontroled ,leaving us with no defense or atacking ourselves and causing us all kind of diseases …and the Guardian talks about a risk of stoping geoengeneering ? I think we are between the wall and the sword already cause there´s no escape for the consequences of the damages already donne to all life on Earth .Media continue to talk as a hypotheses cinicly as if they were imune to the poisoning .I hope that soon than later they will find out how wrong they are !
These people from newspapers and Media in general are doing a very bad work to humankind(i even would say a criminal work) ,Why so much denial from the people that should inform us ? they don´t want to inform but to desinform us as they seem to be paid to do ,they want to keep us in ignorance ,and why? almost seems like they want all of us in ignorance to be preparing their way out of this dire situation in bunkers or whatever they are building underground and this way they will still have people working for them in preparations for the D day ,people that still work for some money to provide shelter for the biggest liars and criminals on Earth.
I guess they will be forced to stop with geoengeneering when a societal colapse will occur ,just then they will stop it ! But then they will probably go to their "bunkers" .I continue to think that they are just gaining time cause they know there´s no "geoengeneering saving card" to play anymore and soon people will know there´s no more cards to play to solve the envyronmental problem and that they were lied to…
Mr Guy MacPherson talks about the "persuit of a life of excelence" …but what kind of life of excelence ?is it accepting dead ,doing nothing and having fun meanwhile a life of excelence ? what is a better persuit of a life of excelence than the work you Dane ,carnicom institute and others like you are doing ? …Persuing a life of excelence is to hide the geoengeneering programs from public and telling us how pacificly we should accept death while the criminals are building underground cities and making Earth a living hell?is it UN /nato /big corporations Killing us slowly while we make a "party" for knowing that "we all will die" ?…
In my opinion these temperatures that of one day to another have diferences of 10ºC ,the snow storms ,the droughts etc.is already part of the process of the living hell on Earth and that our bodies and other living things will not be able to deal for so long…So,this is no solution ,never was !This is a Army solution,a business solution ,a political solution etc but not a envyronmental solution…
In my opinion This article is no worst than all the other articles where they pretend that geoengeneering is not happening .Unfortunatly this is What we have while the planet is falling apart! The geoengeneering programs already in our skies is one of the News issue that the "free press" can´t report in a democratic western world…what a democracy! And i´m remenbering all the "je suis charlie" that we the western people were exibithing everywhere in our also hypocritical systems!
In Southwest, New Mexico-USA. All day today we got hammered by much SAG spraying! I tried posting earlier but to no avail with Error being displayed? Today is 5-20-15 10:35 p.m. real time…..Handed out some info.
Have to share one more thing. I just saw the movie "Lucy" starring Scarlet Johannson. There is a scene early in the movie where the Morgan Freeman character (a professor giving a lecture about the history of the human brain and it's function) to a packed auditorium. He declares that all we humans are able to use is 10% of our brain capacity. There then begins a "stream of consciousness" segment of video clips showing a fast moving array of human activities, each unique, complex and intended to portray, in the context of the professor's statement, some of the amazing things humans have accomplished with only this 10%. Several clips in, sandwiched between other impressive clips, is a quick video of a massive tic-tac-toe spraying/geoengineering operation, video-ed at close range with jets flying in all directions leaving massive trails. This clip is blatant and brief. Almost brief enough to qualify as "subliminal".
Now, the question becomes, what sonofabitches were the decision makers pertaining to the inclusion of this clip? Contextually, the clip is supposed to illustrate one of the various and incredible accomplishments of man and his 10% brain. I share this as an example of just how deep and insidious this psy-op has become. So….it is not any kind of profound revelation that Hollywood has had ties to covert government ops. But folks, we should all be on the lookout for this kind of crap, and be ready to recognize it for what it is: an attempt to psy-op our asses and brainwash public opinion.
When I first saw this segment of the movie, I could scarcely believe my eyes. Had to pause and rewind several times to really analyze it objectively. By now, we all know these kinds of tactics are in play…..yet….still unbelievable that these sniveling bastards are reaching this deep into pop-culture to spread toxic lies and disinformation.
I remember that scene from Lucy. How ironic for a movie that's supposed to be about expanding our minds and consciousness. The other day I was watching the series finale of a show. The episode started out with a flashback to about 20 years prior and a good long close up shot of a jet spraying in the sky! I couldn't believe my eyes. Here's a clip, 35 seconds in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQMQc6S5uUo
I also recall the series finale of Son's of Anarchy. I caught up on all the seasons last year, always paying attention to the sky in the background (California) which was mostly silvery blue or white and never actually noticed any trails until the last episode in December, they stood out right away.
It can't be a coincidence that the spraying and littered skies are making such blatant appearances on series finale's which happen to draw in the most viewers… Seems they are really ramping up their efforts to desensitize the masses to this insanity. We'll probably be seeing more of these devil's advocate/reverse psychology kind of reports, like the Gaurdian's. I just wonder if it will get even harder to fight this issue the more mainstream and 'accepted' it becomes, or perhaps finally all the seeds that have been planted will start to sprout as the psychos can eventually no longer hide the fact that what they 'propose' to do looks exactly like what they've been doing all along.
Just about every publication is filled now with images of geoengineered skies and in many, if not most, of the cases I am sure these are photoshopped in.
So, it is totally deliberate. They are going for broke in order to 'normalise' geoengineered skies. A couple of days ago a work colleague told me about The Cloud Appreciation Society. Apparently it was formed by some guy in Britain in 2005 and their Facebook page is filled with images of geoengineered skies. The images don't look amateur and the bizarre names that NASA or whoever have come up with are usually mentioned under the photos.
These complex names undoubtedly help to give credit to the images as being normal to the unwitting viewers. There is no dissent in the commentary, no references to 'geoeongineering' or even 'chemtrails'.
It all seems far too neat and coincidental that this arises in the time when geoeongineering ramps up. There are hardly any normal fluffy cloud images on the Facebook site, which makes sense as these types of clouds are being eradicated. Imagine if they started reminding people of what skies used to look like! But no, the opposite is their aim.
Heh… What the professor failed to notice is that the remaining 90% of human brain function is what now controls human behavior…
There is strong evidence that pulsed frequency modes of broadcast (as used in cellular phone communications) cause significant shifts in brain function away from frontal lobe and executive skills. The cognitive deficits caused by such intentional modulations of brain waves are well researched. Cellphones are weapons grade devices intended to maim and disrupt cognitive and autoimmune functions. The military has done it's research well…

Check out the Little Rascals movie from 1994 too. I couldn't believe it when I saw a chemtrail behind Alfalfa and Spanky when they are sitting on a hill, a little over an hour into the movie. So they were chemtrailing even back then and we didn't even know it. It's everywhere now – movies, commercials, TV shows, etc.
Very strange weather here in SF we have had a month of cold persistent clouds not your typical summer Fog pattern, when it rolls in the afternoon and burns off early morning. It has been difficult to tell if they are still spraying high up above those geo engineered clouds! They give off a just opened the freezer door feel to them, when the sun does poke through its very intense I feel almost like a vampire when it touches my skin. So where did that triple R go and why are we getting all these Low pressure systems with no Rain off course skidding down the coast? More sinister plots I presume by whom ever is calling the shots!
Yet another article that reasons out the situation but leaves out several stupendous truths: 1) Sulphate aerosols are probably the lesser of our worries when in fact, aluminum, barium and strontium most certainly occupy the lion's share of areosolized particulates. 2) The effects on human health, not to mention the entire life support system, (of nano-particulates) are ignored in favor of a convoluted theoretical analysis of the risks of stopping geoengineering as it relates to other scenarios involving climate change. The final paragraph in this essay has really got it all ass-backwards. And the title of the article, perpetuating the concept that geoengineering is "fast and cheap", is repulsive in the extreme and COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY FALSE!!!!!!!! HELLO??? These bastards have been geoengineering their balls off for how many years? and still the planet is warming inexorably! And what's with this bullshit idea of it being cheap? Really? As if the author of this piece is so blinded by his thesis that he has magically and tragically and conveniently overlooked the actual reality of what it means to spray millions of tons of substances into the very air we all breath every minute of every day. REALLY? Talk about a disconnect. So many of such essays disregard (or are incapable of ) truly getting a hand grip on what the fuck we are really doing to ourselves and to our precious and once-miraculous biosphere.
And one more thing: The cascade of press now occurring surrounding geoengineering would have us believe that this is a plan to save the planet from global warming. Really? Excuse me, but last time I checked, most, if not all, of the geoengineering going on planet wide has zero to do with "SAVING US ALL FROM GLOBAL WARMING". It has become increasingly apparent that there exist a variety of psy-op and/or military agendas tying in with the derivatives market and other evil, covert agendas of the predatory corporate octopus.
Have a nice evening, everybody.
Hello Marc, yes, the disaster capitalists are filling their pockets with loot as the ship goes down oblivious to the fact that they will also perish if the ship is allowed to go under.
This article from the Guardian is quite an adventure into literary fantasy. As in all good articles/stories it starts out with real world occurrences, facts and figures.
However in the closing paragraphs begin the fantasy, peppered with fiction. Here we see the writer introducing the thought of, what if we did this?…" the easy and fast way to reduce global temperatures would be through geoengineering"…
So far, so good we think… sounds like a plan. Op's now doubt creeps in when he writes …"the ease with which geoengineering could be used could actually be one of its biggest drawbacks"… That's ok we say, the guys in the labs, the military and our government have always made things work, they have our back.
Then the writer drops this confidence deflator on us …"even if the technology were used responsibly, the aerosols would do nothing to halt ocean acidification and a myriad of other problems"… Wow this problem is really getting big. Good thing we are dealing with a "what if fantasy."
So we ponder, why start this GeoEngineering to begin with…or just suppose we already were doing it? Why couldn't we just stop? Our Guardian writer anticipated our question and wrote… "if the aerosol spraying was halted… global temperatures would skyrocket faster than ever."
We think, can things get any worse? and our writer responds …"some of the worst risks of geoengineering might be the link forged between climate catastrophes and other shocks to humanity."
Crushing, just crushing we say. Could our faith in the system be restored? Will there by a happy ending? Not according to the Guardian writer when he states: "When the stability of our biosphere becomes dependent on the stability of our human infrastructure, we’re baking in an automatic climate crisis to the next catastrophe."
Oh well, I guess GeoEngineering is a no go… a non-starter… a fun exercise in "what if." Now where do we go, what do we do? Our writer answers with a stern parental suggestion …"let’s cut emissions before geoengineering becomes too tempting to resist." The End
We put down the article and realize it did noting but confuse and distort what we know as reality by just Looking Up.
I suggest at the end of the day, the writer(s) at the Guardian skip their usual stop at the local Pub and proceed home. There, slip into their "designer running gear" and jog about their neighborhood for about a half hour…all the while looking up…and send this web site a message with a report of what they saw and how they felt both physically and mentally after their little excursion.
.
Any reasonable critical thinker should come to the conclusion, what is written in this article about GeoEngineering, is not a "what if" scenario but is Reality Now.
Hello Ralph, all on target points that you have made. The level of denial and delusion in our media and our society is truly beyond comprehinsion.
Ralph for President!
Dane, funny that you should mention anger right when I was thinking maybe you are too angry to see what the Guardian has done here. Given that "none" will admit this is already going on, the Guardian makes a reasoned case AGAINST geoengineering. Including some stuff I'd not heard of nor thought of. Seems as if the Guardian is responding to geoengineers–I've not read the book Climate Shock, but that and the IPPC, and "cheap" for countries and billionaires-is a clue, and "cheap" in the monetary sense which is always their bottom line, in that context the word cheap is viable. I've heard that the Arctic is begging for geoengineering. Probably others too. This article seems well thought out to me. But, of course it would be swell if someone would just cop to this, admit it-I have the feeling the Guardian is well aware. And going on record as against it. And why.
I'm not trying to be a glass half full person here, I too am bummed to tears, furious, mega angry, ready to do anything and everything to stop this even if the ramifications are severe and they will be. I am a grandmother, watching the oldest-nearly 20-just accepting the fact of dying soon. Making no future plans. The youngest grandson is 11 now, but when he was 9 he found his mom's computer open to your page and asked-I immediately recognized his "handle", asked you: So, what are you going to do about it? That simple remark from my own 9 year old grandson, well it brings me to tears as I write this. So, his mom, my daughter, and I do everything we can. I want them to know that I did my best even if it wasn't good enough, I tried, we tried. We won't stop trying. They know about you, and they now know far more about our world than they would have otherwise. I was supposed to be getting my books typed and published, dropped it all for this. Still, we must find some pleasure in life now and then. So we garden, growing food, raising chickens. They camp and fish and Kayak. We don't want to break our bonding with the Earth. As adults, we cannot allow doom and gloom to be the main theme 24/7. My health is very bad and not due to geoengineering, though that doesn't help, but it gives me a platform with doctors and patients. And it makes me fearless.
You are right that letting go of one's hopes and dreams, even memories, is very hard. Adjusting to this "new" reality is hard. Heart breaking. I am forgetting the stages of grief. First comes denial. Right? Then anger, then bargaining-am forgetting the 4th before acceptance. I find the biggest obstacle in waking people up, the denial, is a reaction to how far the world has spun out of balance-horror here there and everywhere. No one, it seems, has anymore room for more doom and gloom. I get thought of as negative and a downer. Every single person I know is struggling with major issues, life and death issues, quality of life issues. All are trying to do their best to improve their situation. Dear ones dying of cancer. Murder. Dead children. I used to be the fun one. The life of a party. Now I don't get invited to parties! And I don't care. I only care for this dear Earth, and a future for my children, your children, all children. Yet despair they will never know what it was like back when. Course now that I know what it was really like back when, even my memories are tainted with doom. Anger makes a person sick. I know this from experience. You are quite right to redirect it. But I am not so sure this article deserves it. Is worth it.
Devotedly, Rachel
Hi Dane…thanks for your unceasing fight against weather warfare & battle for truth. Be well!
@ Mike C – I agree!
Geoengineers always get away with the thinnest veneer of rationale. They do so knowing that the mainstream media is controlled and science community is silenced (save the brave few – including DW – who speak out/educate independently). Real scientific objections always diminished or completely shut out. And we know public outcry against weather warfare gets zero air time!
"Alternatively, the easy and fast way to reduce global temperatures would be through geoengineering. Spraying "sulphate aerosols into the atmosphere would mimic the reflective particles released from volcanic eruptions, cooling the planet and returning us to pre-industrial temperatures"…..
Every aspect of weather control has been secretive – done against our will. Track backwards and the answer or root is always the cabal's desire to own the weather, thus control the masses, even before the 1940's, but very ramped up by the late 1940's…Aerosols spraying, Biological Warfare, HAARP, EMF, Microwave, Nuclear, Radiation (you can check out weekly radiation levels in your area @ US EPA Radnet site). Their rationale for SRM is just another round of veiled concern and supposed mitigation of global warming. They can do this because there's been no one stopping them, just slowing them down.
So many within the advanced science community who researched, developed and patented all the lethal atomic materials as well as biological/genetics came from Germany & UK during & after WWII. Some are still among us..those are the mad scientists. They helped create/mentor the next generation of mad scientists.
I'm left with the feeling that they have contempt for anything within the natural world. How sick is the fantasy to emit so much CO2 to destroy trees and create a "green world full of biological diversity". Oh how many of them dreamt early on for the ability to have designer trees, vegetation, designer animal kits – create your own anything! Never satisfied with beauty for beauty's sake in the natural world! Geniune grief over the earth's destruction and welfare of humankind would have stopped all of this decades ago.
Here on the East Coast there's another aerial assault in progress.
Sometimes, it pains me more that I see the spraying and the majority are too busy playing with their smart phones to even bother to look up.
As long as the elite, Illuminati, Military, New World Order or( whoever is responsible for this)… know that the vast majority of the population is dumbed down, this criminal activity will continue.
The wind is out of my sails and am totally bumbed out.
Hello Al, get angry and turn that anger to fuel for productively engaging in the battle at hand, to expose and halt climate engineering. We must all let go of what we imagined would be, and embrace what is. Solace exists only in fully commiting ourselves to the battle for the common good, no matter how dark the horizon. If you rise every day with the firm resolve to put another dent in the armor of the collective insanity, to move the ball forward in the battle for reason, you can again feel “the wind in your sails”. We are not alone in this fight, important and influential allies are joining our ranks, I say this with first hand knowledge. Keep sounding the alarm , we need everyone in this battle. Do not submit to going silently into the night. If we all pull together we will yet accomplish astounding good even at this late hour.
LEAVE GEOENGINEERING TO THE ULTIMATE WEATHERMAKER: GOD… KEEP ALL OTHERS OUT!!!
